Sibilla is BluEye Simulations' software. It combines ABM and LLM models to reproduce social, business and economic dynamics in virtual worlds, generating thousands of ‘what if’ simulations. The result is a probabilistic estimate of possible futures as desired inputs change, created to guide business and policy maker choices and steer towards a less uncertain future.
Sibilla deploys up to thousands of language-enabled AI agents, which interact in network structures modelled ad hoc to reproduce specific contexts. The agents are, in turn, cognitively modelled to adhere to relevant population clusters and demographic variables.
Output
Sibilla returns probability distributions for events that may occur when certain conditions (inputs) are met: testing of products to be placed on the market; public speeches; social policies. Each event can be simulated in Sibilla's virtual environment to predict its behaviour probabilistically and improve the product before it is put into operation.
Satellite analysis
Sibilla's strength also lies in its modularity of analysis. Once scenarios have been created, additional ‘satellite analyses’ can be applied to gain an in-depth understanding of the impact and opinion that the input will generate in the target community. By talking to each other, agents will produce texts and conversations to be analysed using Natural Language Processing, and understand the sentiment and reception that the input will receive.
